    Introducing the 600 Series: 601, 602, 605
Taconic has over thirty-five years of experience coating fiberglass fabric with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). This enables Taconic to manufacture copper clad PTFE/woven glass laminates with exceptionally well-controlled electrical and mechanical properties. These attributes effectively extend the suitability of Taconic grades to X-Band and above. Taconic acquired the 600 series (601, 602, 605) several years ago and are now firmly part of the ever-increasing Taconic product range.

The 600 series, PTFE/woven glass laminates are unique in construction for given dielectric constant (Dk) and dielectric thickness. Their unique character makes them ideal for all existing products that were designed with 600-series grades. Corresponding grades, TLT/TLX and TLY undergo continuous technological upgrades and should therefore be used for new designs.
