High Layer Count Backpanels Operating at 10 Gb/s Enabled by PTFE-based Composites
High layer count multilayers for high-speed digital and WCDMA require a new base material platform on fluoropolymer
basis for laminate and prepregs. The requirements for base materials are discussed, such as material loss capability
at 10 GB/s, cost of PTFE-based materials, manufacturability of printed circuit boards, and dependability of supply.
