Rogers and Taconic Settle Patent Suit
Rogers and Taconic have recently agreed to settle a dispute that has been
ongoing for several years. The Federal District Court for the District of
Connecticut has entered a Consent Judgement that validates Rogers patents,
provides a monetary settlement, and allows for Taconic's marketing of its
current Cer-10 and RF-60 products. The terms of the Consent Judgement are
under seal and both parties are prohibited from public announcements
regarding the Consent Judgement beyond this joint press release.
Taconic is a global manufacturer and marketer of engineered products for
demanding specialty applications. These products serve the Aerospace,
Automotive, Chemical, Food, Medical, Textile and Wireless Communication
Industries, encapsulating a broad spectrum of available substrate materials
with PTFE, fluoropolymer based materials.
