Taconic appoints Technical Sales Manager Central Europe
With the introduction of 3G network infrastructure and related RF initiatives, as well
as the ever growing number of rf applications in the automotive technology, OEMs and printed
circuit board manufacturers in Central Europe require more dedicated resources from
Taconic's Advanced Dielectric Division.
For this reason Taconic will serve customers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and BeNeLux
countries directly from May 1, 2004.
Taconic has named Dr. Albert Angstenberger as Technical Sales Manager, Central Europe. Dr.
Angsterberger is an authority in RF and Printed Circuit Board Technology, who will serve
customers in this territory from his home office in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany.
Dr. Albert Angstenberger has a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry and has more than 20 years of
experience in the printed circuit board & related industry. Formerly, he was R&D and
Engineering Manager at Leitron Printed Circuits, Process Centre Manager at Hewlett Packard's
German pcb plant, and Consultant to the pcb industry. His last position was Business Manager
for Microelectronics & Sensors at Diehl Ammunition Systems in Germany.
Dr. Angstenberger presented numerous technical papers at domestic and international venues,
which were subsequently published. An example is "The Impact of Microwave Theory on MLB´s for
High-Speed Digital Applications - Design, Production, Qualification", presented at IPC World
Conference in Tokyo, etc.
